How To Build A DIY Coffee Table

Building a DIY coffee table can be a fun and rewarding project, and it’s a great way to add a unique piece of furniture to your home. Here are the steps you can follow to build a simple, oak coffee table in just half a day… or you can get in touch with us and we will build one for you.

Gather your materials. You will need:

  1. Wood for the top and legs of the table
  2. Screws.
  3. Wood glue.
  4. Sandpaper.
  5. Saw.
  6. Drill.
  7. Wood filler.

DIY Coffee Table – Now to begin.

Cut the wood

Measure and mark the wood for the top and legs of the table. Use a saw to cut the wood to size. Sand the edges to remove any roughness.

Assemble the legs

Take four pieces of wood and arrange them in a rectangle to form the legs of the table. Secure the legs together with wood glue and screws.

Attach the top

Place the top of the table on top of the legs and secure it in place with wood glue and screws.

Finish the table

Sand the entire table to smooth out any rough edges or imperfections. You may want to apply a finish to the table, such as paint or stain, to protect the wood and give it a polished look.
