How long will my online shop order take?

If you order from the online shop, depending on your delivery location, it will take approximately 7-working days from when the order is received.

How do I place a custom order?

Please contact us directly via WhatsApp to discuss your custom order. Once you have decided to place a custom order, please check the dimensions of the space in which the piece will be placed to ensure that it will fit accordingly. This includes measuring any staircase, doorways, and corridors the piece will have to pass through, as well as the space required for manoeuvring and turning. How long will my custom order take?

Everything we make is from scratch, so when you order custom furniture, we will stipulate the lead time on the invoice which should normally take approximately 6 to 8 weeks from when the deposit is paid. Check our our Custom Furniture Orders page for more info.

Can my order be delivered to my door?

There is FREE DELIVERY country wide on all orders from the online shop. If you require delivery of your custom piece, we will quote you based on the distance between our workshop and the destination. You can also arrange pick up of your custom piece from our workshop. If on completion of your order, you are not able to receive it, we will charge a storage fee of 5% of the value of the piece, this will be charged weekly.

Can I arrange my own shipping or self-collect?

All shipping is handled from our side with reliable 3rd party couriers to safely and securely send you your piece with reliable tracking information.

Can you deliver my order at a certain time?

We use 3rd party couriers for our deliveries and cannot commit to delivering a specific time during the day as it depends how many deliveries the courier has in your area and surrounding areas. Please do therefore make sure that the shipping address you provide is an address where somebody will always be available to accept the delivery.

How do I track my order?

Once pieces within your order have been dispatched, you will receive an automated shipping notification including tracking details. It could up to one day for the tracking information to update. Once your order has been dispatched, our economy door to door courier service takes 5 to 7-working days to deliver your order. If you have not received your order after 7-working days of receiving the shipping notification, please contact us. Our pieces are made to order which means they will be dispatched on different dates and you may receive multiple deliveries. Please refer to your order confirmation email for an indication of when each item in your order will be dispatched. You will be notified with a detailed email including tracking details when each piece has been dispatched.

Can I cancel, return or get a refund from TG Décor?

How do I take care, clean, and protect my furniture?

All our wood and metal pieces are very low maintenance. You can clean most items with a damp cloth or a little soap and water. (No need for any wood oil.) For glass, a little newspaper and Windolene will go a long way to keeping your piece crisp and clear.

What type of wood do you use?

We use a mixture of selectively sourced timber. We work with our suppliers to hand-select every board for each order, ensuring the final piece has perfect charm and personality.

Why does my wood furniture have knots in it?

Wood is a natural product and each piece will have its own inconsistencies. No two timber pieces will ever be the same. It’s what gives each piece its own personality.

How do I build my furniture piece once I receive my order?

We craft and assemble your custom furniture piece in our factory, so there is no need for assembly. None of our creations come flat packed in a box.

Can I return my custom furniture piece for a full refund?

Because of the natural materials used, we do not give any refunds on custom orders.

Can I keep my custom furniture piece outside?

Most of our furniture pieces are made specifically to be kept and utilized indoors.

Do you make outdoor furniture?

We make custom patio pieces that are weather protected but not completely from safe from the elements.
